Fans had queued in the morning itself to catch a glimpse of Saif Ali Khan at the recently concluded Auto Expo.
But he came in the afternoon, and what is more, took more than 40 minutes to reach the pavilion, which by the way was just two kilometres away from where his car was parked. And the cops went into a tizzy trying to manage the crowd! Uff, not again, we say!
And finally when Saif caught his breath on entering the hall, he talked about his love for cars. Later, when asked to choose between mom, Sharmila, an actress and dad, Pataudi, a cricketer, he chose daddy dear! “Dad as a cricketer,” he smiled. Itna hi nahi, his love for daddy’s game goes beyond. “If in future, I get a chance to buy an IPL team, I would go in for somewhere between Gurgaon and Mumbai,” he said. Gurgaon? Kuch samajh nahi aaya! “Gurgaon because of the Pataudi Palace, I love that place. Mumbai because that’s the place from where I earn my bread and butter,” he said.
Guess he wants something between The Delhi Daredevils and Mumbai Indians. Are we right, Saif?
